On the other hand so many disciplines talk over “work” in a subordinate way. So, work-related discussions are available in almost all social science disciplines. This paper aims to present Turkish HRM practitioners’ approaches about “work” concept using a theoretical framework created by John W. Budd. This framework takes work in the conceptualisation which includes almost all social sciences approaches to work. To reveal Turkish HRM practitioners’ perspectives on work, interviews with HRM practitioners from Turkey, which appear in Hr magazine (HR Dergi), have been analysed via the software MaxQDA.
